The SPE Thermoforming Division invites you to attend our 20th conference exclusively created for the Thermoforming Industry. This is your opportunity to network with clients, colleagues, vendors and industry leaders, all in one convenient location. Our exhibit hall will provide an opportunity for you to visit with our industries equipment, material, tooling, and service providers. If this is your first conference, you will find it to be the most cost effective way to learn about the Thermoforming Industry.
Learn how to take advantage of new technical developments to maintain and grow your business in the current economy. Our comprehensive program includes technical presentations by recognized industry experts, highlighting new and exciting developments in our industry, as well as providing an assessment of current market conditions. Full day workshops will be led by respected industry experts to help your technical staff gain more practical insight into the thermoforming process. Our expert panel discussions allow our audience to interact with industry specialists and discuss topics related to tooling, machinery, materials and processing.
The conference offers an array of sponsorship, exhibiting and advertising options that provide your organization with a cost effective way to promote your products and services, establish your brand, build new business relationships, and secure your position as a leader in the industry. Our sponsors and exhibitors have a unique opportunity to introduce their new and exciting products and technologies to a target audience during our “Innovation Brief’s” presentations located directly on the Exhibit Floor. The “Innovation Brief’s” presentations were a big success last year. In the event of scheduling conflicts, Sponsors will be given priority status.
We invite you to enter your unique packaging or industrial parts in our annual parts competition. No conference is complete without showing off our parts! You will be able to see parts with dramatic designs and undercuts that will prompt you to challenge your own operation. We will showcase winning parts in numerous print media and on our website. An award plaque would look good on your wall!
Events
The main event is our “Thermoformer of the Year” Grand Reception and dinner which will be held on Sunday evening (9/18/2011). It is our opportunity to honor the new recipient as well as all prior award winners for their contributions to our industry. The conference location provides opportunities for superb dining, entertainment, and shopping (Woodfield Mall) which are all nearby. We also have everything that Chicago has to offer within 40 minutes.
On Tuesday (9/20/2011), we will arrange for plant tours for machinery, tooling and processing facilities. The details of the facilities that will host these tours are located on the “Plant Tours” tab. We have found that you can always learn something from touring a plant.
