Phillip
Barhouse is Director of Quality Systems/Research & Development
for Creative Forming. Phillip has been in the plastic’s
quality field for 13 years. In his current role, he oversees
quality in the thermoforming and extrusion areas of Creative
Forming. In addition, Phillip is in charge of R&D
in the area of resin development. He has been involved
in all aspects of quality including ISO 9001 certification.
Mr. Barhouse has spent the last five years at Creative
Forming studying polymer processing, material rheology,
and thermoforming technology. Phillip provided the technical
advising and review of a series of books entitled “Speaking
of Plastics Manufacturing” published by the Society
of Manufacturing Engineers. In addition to being a member
of SPE, he is also a member of The American Society for
Quality . Prior working at Creative Forming, Phillip
was with Dexter Electronic Materials in Industry California.
At Dexter, he was involved in testing polymeric materials
and assisted in the development of their quality system
in accordance with ISO9001 quality standard. Phillip
received his education from California State University
Long Beach. |
