Bill
McConnell is President of McConnell Co., Inc., thermoforming
consultants
in Fort Worth, TX. He has served SPE as Intl. Membership
Chairman, Education Chairman and President of the North
Texas Section. Bill was awarded the first annual “Thermoformer
of the Year” award from the Thermoforming Division
of The SPE and has been named a “Fellow” of
the Society. He is currently on the BoD of the Thermoforming
Div. For more than 20 yrs. he has been teaching thermoforming
seminars for the SPE. Bill’s seminars are held
world wide. He has lectured widely and written extensively
on all phases of thermoforming, including contributions
to textbooks and encyclopedias. He is asked regularly
to be an expert witness and consultant to the legal field
on plastics-related projects. Bill spent 14 yrs. as VP & GM
of Texstar Plastics. He was one of the pioneers in thermoforming
and plastics processing. He was a mfr’s rep in
plastics for 20 yrs. He founded AAA Plastic Equip., Inc.
in 1964, selling it in 1979. He is a member of many university
advisory boards and committees. |
