Steve
Murrill is the President and Owner of Profile Plastics,
Inc.,
Lake Bluff, IL a Custom Molder of highly cosmetic plastic
parts manufactured via the cut sheet thermoforming process.
He has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue
University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
He has been on the Board of Director of the Thermoforming
Division of the SPE since 1987. Over the course of the
last 15 years he has been Chairman of the Division for
two years, and active on every Thermoforming Conference
committee since its inception. He has been a speaker,
moderator and program chairmen for the Thermoforming
Conference and many other SPE Conferences and RETEC’s,
held by other Divisions and Sections. He received the “Lifetime
Achievement Award” from the Thermoforming Division
in 2001.
Prior to his purchasing Profile in 1986, Steve worked
for Signode Corporation, Glenview, IL as a New Ventures
Manager in their New Business Development and Acquisitions
Department. Prior to Signode, he held several positions
at Exxon Chemical Co. USA, Houston, TX. |
