Robert
Porsche graduated from Southern Illinois University with
a B.S.
degree in Marketing and Management.
Porsche has worked as a Sales Engineer and Market manager
for ENM, a Chicago manufacturer of electro-mechanical
counters and hour meters. He spent the next thirteen
years in sales management at Profile Plastics during
the rapid development of pressure forming, the introduction
of CNC five axis routing equipment and the increasing
movement of production from metal to plastics formed
parts.
In 1987 Porsche purchased a small vacuum forming company
in Milwaukee, WI. When he bought General Plastics, Inc.
the company had five employees and antiquated equipment
housed in 12,000 square feet of space. General Plastics,
Inc. now utilizes state of the art equipment, employs
fifty and is now housed in 51,000 square feet of manufacturing
space. Bob lives with his wife in Mequon, WI. |
