Walter
R. Speck, III is President and CEO of Speck Plastics,
Inc. in Nazareth,
PA. Speck Plastics is a heavy-gauge custom thermoformer,
founded in 1954. He and his sister Suzann Speck represent
the 3rd generation of Speck ownership. Walt Worked various
line level production jobs at Speck Plastics from 1980-1984,
returning to Speck Plastics
in New Product Development in July of 1991. In July of
1996 he was promoted to Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
Later he purchased 50% ownership of Speck, and has ascended
to President/CEO. Walt has a BS Degree from Northwestern
University, Evanston, IL, graduating in 1984. He has
been an SPE Thermoforming Division Member since 1991,
is a
regular attendee of the Fall Conference, has
attended all 4 Board of Directors' meetings in the last
12 months, and is active on Processing and Website Development
Committees. Walt Worked with the 2003 Parts Competition,
is A/V Chair for the 2004 Fall Conference and is active
with the 2005 Fall Conference Committee.
